Lessons of Personal Transformation In Our Own Full Moon Eclipse

This full moon eclipse gives us a moment of pause, surrender, and release. In order to welcome new perspectives, insights, and awareness we must first let go of what has held us back- good, bad, and simply no longer of benefit. A release and allowance of new unknowns to enter is the ultimate surrender for the greater good of yourself and others. Sometimes the most healing things are unknowns in the beginning. We must welcome and allow with cautious optimism, in order to transcend the place that we've been.
Some of these things may be shadow sides that keep you from being your fully actualized self. Just like the earth's shadow is cast over the moon ours too comes and goes, casting its influence over us and our actions. Allow grace to yourself as these negative habits and resistances come to light in the luminance of the full moon. Looking at our shadowy sides of ourselves and the repercussions of it can be tough. But the flip side is welcoming parts that we have long denied or inadvertently given power brings awareness and agency that can be SO FREEING. Sometimes we must choose between a path of instant gratification (or comfort/safety) and long term well-being (new unknowns and healthy action).
There is something about this that may feel overwhelming when we see clearly, perhaps for the first time, everything that has come to the forefront. It can sometimes feel like hope is lost and the divine has left you high and dry. Times like this are reminders that even in the darkest of times, it's not personal and we ARE still supported (if we allow a crack of light in our perspective of what that support looks like). Don’t give in to the mental traps that pull us into vicitim instead of practicing those that bring us back into alignment and power. Having faith and confidence (even if we are surrendering to blind faith) allows the divine to shine through and the hard times to roll past much quicker. This is a moment to really make time and prioritize self-care and nourishment on a deeply personal and spiritual level. Practices of gratitude can help immensely too.
Ultimately, we are divinely guided and protected. When we take strong empowered action, we allow stability and safety into our lives. When things seem tumultuous, we can remember to welcome the masculine a bit more for tangible action and support. Perhaps the issues at hand would feel more manigible if written out and broken into bite sized pieces. Sometimes being systematic and strategic in our approach can turn the “mountain” into a “hill” that is a more manageable "climb". Overwhelm is sometimes a matter of perspective and objective observation and small but certain action can bring relief as we trudge through.
In the end, its best to allow your feelings that arise to be felt fully and validated- but don’t dwell on them. Lingering in pain sometimes lets us slide back into the illusion of being stuck. Find supportive, nourishing action, to help you pull it together and find a way to move forward (gratitude to remember what you DO have, what IS working in your favor). Forgive the elements that have arisen in order to free yourself and move on.
Life ebbs and flows. I believe that the more we learn to integrate and accept ourselves as the perfectly imperfect WHOLE, the more grounded and resilient we become. The actions of nurturing support we build into our lives makes tumultuous times more bearable. The grace and gratitude we practice makes us more fearless and unshakeable. As we build clarity and self-awareness into our every day life, we are less at the mercy of circumstance and more in control of how we react and move through life… and ultimately, able to choose peace and alignment as much as possible to enjoy it all so much more!
